Storage Cabinets for Hazardous materials

SC Cabinets provide storage cabinet products for hazardous materials that comply with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002(DSEAR), Paragraphs 94-96, along with appendices A & B and Paragraph 104 in the DSEAR ACoP L136 together with the Factory Inspectorates Certificate of Approval No.1 parts 3 and 4.

We provide the following storage cabinet range:

• COSHH Storage Cabinets
• Acid Storage Cabinets
• Pesticide Storage Cabinets

All storage cabinets are constructed from 20 gauge mild steel with welded seams throughout. Doors are reinforced to prevent distortion and fitted with a two point lockable L handle with 2 keys.

All cabinets have adjustable shelves, which also act as a spillage tray for minor spills and are adjustable in 25mm increments. All cabinets have an internal spillage sump built into the base of the unit, which is not removable.

All materials used to manufacture our storage cabinet range are tested in accordance with BS476 parts 20 and 22 to give a 30 minute fire resisting structure.

Flammable storage cabinets have a yellow epoxy polyester powder coat finish – Acid cabinets have a white polyester powder coat finish – COSHH cabinets have a grey hammer epoxy polyester powder coat finish – Pesticide cabinets have a red polyester powder coat finish. All cabinets have warning labels on doors to BS5378.
